the grateful vermonter gift shop embodies the founder's spirit of gratitude for her home state and its many artisans. the boutique gift shop wanted an brand that tied into vermont's heritage and paid homage to her vintage volkswagen beetle. i developed an upscale, retro-inspired identity with letterpress type and a clean icon perfect for everything from tissue paper to apparel, using cool colors that match the feeling of wandering shops on vacation.
